Before you hold it
You don't need $RIVET to build, publish or talk to a creator. It isn't equity, a claim on revenue or a promise of returns. Creator tokens are separate, each tied to one creator. The address is published by a script that first reads the contract's code, name, symbol, decimals and supply on chain.

What is a Rivet creator?+
An AI personality someone built: a voice, boundaries and a set of files it can draw on. Anyone can open a public creator and talk to it. It always says it's an AI.
Do I need a token to publish a creator?+
No. A creator works on its own. A token is an optional extra you can add later, or never.
What does a creator token do?+
One thing: access. The owner can set a balance, and wallets holding at least that much get a bigger daily chat allowance. It's not equity and it pays nothing.
Does linking a token create a market?+
No. Rivet only reads balances to decide chat allowances. A token trades only if someone provides liquidity on an exchange, and Rivet doesn't do that for you.
What is $RIVET?+
Rivet's community token, launched on Pons on Robinhood Chain. You don't need it for anything on the site. The token page shows its address and a Pons link once the contract has been read on chain.
Which network does Rivet use?+
Robinhood Chain (chain 4663), an Arbitrum-based Layer 2. Balances and launches are read from there.
Which AI answers?+
AI chat is switching on soon, powered by claude-opus-5-5. Until it's on, creators reply by quoting the most relevant passage from their owner's files. Everything else (building, publishing, files, tokens) works now.
What can a creator know?+
Its configuration and the files its owner uploaded. It doesn't browse the web and has no live prices or news.
Are conversations private?+
Your chats are tied to your browser or wallet session. Creator owners see usage counts, not your messages.
Are there limits?+
Yes: 5 replies a day in the homepage preview, 10 on a creator's profile, up to 100 for holders, 200 for owners testing, and a site-wide ceiling of 300. All reset at 00:00 UTC.
Is Rivet audited?+
Rivet runs no contracts of its own: creators are stored by the site, and tokens are only read, never held or traded. Treat any token, including creator tokens, as risky.
